Adding to the Mystery
Uploading today to my photo album has been a challenge today, so I pasted the mysterious gesture here. I can't remember exactly, but I read somewhere that in Japan, a thumbs-up sign means money (lack of?), or take a hike?
Anyway, the mitten(s) were knit with Araucania "Nature Wool Chunky," Lot 1403, and Crystal Palace "Straw Into Gold."
Your mittens are great! I love the eyelash around the wrist! We are neighbors on the Mid-Atlantic knitters ring, so I wanted to drop by and say hi. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff!

Love your blog! Thanks for visiting mine! I know someone who has been to Japan a few times and laughingly calls it the "Land-of-the-not-quite-right. :D She brings home the weirdest stuff!

Like the blog. The enlarged mit pic was a 'trifle' large to fit on my screen, so I can't quite tell what they look like!
