Knitting Keeps Me Sane
It's been a whirlwind of work-related activity here. Missed the day session of the US Open, so where did I end up last night? Across the river, in New Jersey! A last minute invite to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's Opening Night Celebration found me watching violinist Midori perform at Prudential Hall. Didn't get home till late, went to work early this morning armed with a hazelnut coffee. Coffee wore off at about 3:30pm and had to go home early to take a nap.
Next week is Fashion Week in NYC and that means a few parties and friends to visit! But more importantly, so far 3 people have confirmed to meet up at the Volo Cafe for an early evening of knitting next Friday. In addition, there's a big sale at Smileys next week and I'm stocking up on white wool for the Project Kool Aid adventure I will be embarking on! I'm keeping this short because I woke up from my nap and now I'm feeling the urge to knit--knit something, anything! Happy Friday!

Hi .. yes , the acrylic wool blend doesn't feel bad at all. I am not a yarn snob , I think there may be some good acrylic out there ...happy knitting .

Can't wait to see your Kool-Aid dyes! I love doing that! I just did some yesterday. What colors are you planning?
